GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Florida Head Coach Dan Mullen has added another name to his coaching staff. Larry Scott will join the team as the Tight Ends coach after Ja’Juan Seider announced he’s leaving the Gators. Scott spent the last two years at Tennessee as the Offensive Coordinator and Tight Ends coach.

“Larry will do a great job coaching our tight ends, which is one of the most important positions on our staff based on how we utilize that position and the flexibility they have within our offense” said Coach Mullen.

Scott is no stranger to the state of Florida or its talent. He’s a Sebring, Fla. native and a former University of South Florida football player. He returned to USF as a coach in 2006, and also coached at Miami from 2013-2015.

“We are excited to have someone of Coach’s Scott’s coaching experience and background in the state of Florida,” said Coach Mullen.
