The Washington Kastles’ quest for a fourth straight Mylan World Team Tennis Championship will begin tonight as they play host to Philadelphia in the Eastern Conference Semi Finals at the SmithCenter on the campus of George Washington University in Washington, D.C.

Washington enters  (10-4) the match undefeated at home as they face the Philadelphia Freedoms (9-5) tonight as part of an ESPN3/Watch ESPN double header getting underway at 7 pm ET.

Should the Kastles defeat the Freedoms, they will advance to the Mylan WTT Finals on ESPN Sunday, and championship this year will be hosted by the Western Conference Champions.

The first family Michelle, Malia and Sasha Obama were part of a sell out crowd of 3,300 fans at the Smith Center on Tuesday to witness the Kastles clinch, their fifth straight Eastern Conference championship as they defeated the Springfield Lasers 23-15.

Tonight it will be all super stars on deck for the Kastles as will take the court with former world number one and Tennis Hall of Famer Martina Hingis. She will be joined by Sloane Stephens and the rest of the four time defending WTT Champion Kastles.

The Freedom also features a superstar of their own in Victoria Azarenka. Washington is a heavy favorite to return to at the championship game as they have not at lost home in three years.

Meanwhile, out West in the second part of the tennis doubleheader and semi final it will be San Diego and Springfield. The matches will get underway from San Diego at 10 pm ET.

The home standing Aviators will feature the doubles experts the Bryan brothers, Bob and Mike against a Lasers team that boasts James Blake. The winning team will host the World Team Tennis Championship’s this Sunday as we said airing on ESPN at 7 pm ET and they will play the winner of the Washington and Philadelphia match.
