Tuck and O’Neill: Dabo Swinney Excited to be playing in Orlando
Mike Tuck and Jerry O’Neill spoke to Clemson’s Football Head Coach Dabo Swinney about the Clemson Tigers playing the Oklahoma Sooners in Orlando at the Russell Athletic Bowl on December 29. Swinney also talked about the Tigers 2014 season, College Football playoff and more.
Dabo Swinney on playing Oklahoma at Citrus Bowl .
“It’s a tough draw for the Tigers. It will be a big challenge for us. This is a team that a lot of people picked number one preseason and when you sit down and watch them you see why.”
Dabo Swinney on the College Football Playoff.
“I think it’s got a a chance to be good. I think for the most part they got it right. I think there will be some positives on how it all transpired. I never really been a fan of the Big 12 not having a championship game. I don’t think any of the coaches like that. To me its not right when schools have to play 13 games while others only play 12. I don’t think that is equitable so I think that’s a positive that hopefully they have to play a championship game as well but I don’t think Baylor or TCU was good for them. I personally had Baylor forth. I think both of those teams were very deserving and I think they kinda got whiped by a logo last week.”
