Knights quarterback Blake Bortles will have alot of options when it comes to the passing game and who he will throw the ball to. Here is an inside look at some of the names to remember for the season.
J.J Worton: Worton set a school record for a freshman last season with 41 receptions. Worton is a possession type of receiver and will more then likely lead the team once again in receptions this season and be the go to guy for Bortles.
Breshad Perriman: Perriman is  a freshman out of the Atlanta area had a great spring and stood out in the spring game. His father Brett Perriman played in the NFL for 10 years with the Detroit Lions, and New Orleans Saints. Perriman will bring an explosive deep threat to the offense and could be the freshman that has the biggest impact on the team in 2012.
Josh Reese : Entering his sophomore season out of Miami Central High School, Reese has been overshadowed last season by Worton and this spring by Perriman. Reese will look to improve from his 30 receptions from a year ago and is a threat down the field.
Jeff Godfrey : Changing from Quarterback to WR, Godfrey looked very good at the new position this fall and could be someone that the Knights will need to make sure he gets touches during the game. Godfrey left the program briefly after last season and lost his starting quarterback job. Godfrey return to the program in the spring and was willing to change positions. Godfrey been welcome backed to the team by the players and while he will line up wide this season instead of under center. Godfrey may still line up at quarterback on occassion perhaps running the ” Wild Knight” packages.
 Quincy McDuffie : The veteran of the group, The Senior McDuffie will look to lead this young talented group by example and will be involved in the offense as he still as dynamic as anyone led the team last season with 43 receptions. McDuffie will be used from time to time in the kick return game as well where he is as dangerous as anyone in the country helping McDuffie  earning 1st team all CUSA in 2010.
Rannell Hall: Hall will make his most contributions in special teams as he had a great freshman season returning kicks and was named to the College Football Performance Awards Kick Returner Trophy Watch list entering his sophomore season.
Its a group that has alot of people that have followed the program for many years believe that this season could be the best passing game the Knights offense have had since the late 1990s. The combination of  a very deep receiving core  and Bortles and the offensive coaching staff willingness to open up the offense  seems to indicate that receivers will have more opportunities then ever before to make big plays and turn the knights offense elite.
