Top MLB officials met Tuesday in Miami with the attorney representing Porter Fischer, the former Biogenesis clinic employee who is at the center on an ongoing performance-enhancing drug scandal, “Outside the Lines” has learned.
Fischer, a former Biogenesis investor and marketing director for the now-shuttered clinic, has been the primary source of documents linking more than 20 professional baseball players to self-described biochemist Tony Bosch’s wellness facility, including Alex Rodriguez, Ryan Braun and Nelson Cruz.
MLB officials traveled from New York to met with attorney Raymond Rafool in advance of sitting down with Fischer, perhaps by the end of the week or early next week.
