Is It Too Early to Give Up On The Marlins?

It’s Still Early, But Not Too Early To Worry

The baseball season has only just begun but the Miami Marlins are off to a rough start.

I caught up with SportsTalkFlorida.com baseball and basketball Insider, Dan Trujillo, to find out if Marlins fans should hold on and hope that the team improves.

“I do think that it is definitely an overreaction to count them out at this point, six games in. Right now, they’re 1-5 but I’m looking at it this way– If you look at the current division leaders in the National League, it would be the Atlanta Braves, the Cincinnati Reds, and the Colorado Rockies winning their respective division and I don’t think that there’s anybody out there that has any of those teams even in the playoffs.”

Dan and I also discuss the Rays situation. With so many players on the disabled list, should fans be concerned about the rest of the season?
