A transcript scandal at the community or junior college level shouldn’t be too surprising.
College basketball programs need players from stars to bench warmers and if players can be stored at a community or junior college, all the better. College programs pretty much know what players are coming to their schools four or five years prior to entering schools. Every school has a sneaker marketing partner and sneaker companies start signing up youngsters for their basketball camps at age 11, 12 or 13.
In New York, a major college basketball transcript scandal is brewing. A school has suspended the 2014-15 Men’s season, an assistant coach has either been let go or quit on his own and four players are not playing at other schools because of that.
