The NFL and LA: Are They Really Ready?

nfl2The NFL has gone more than two decades without a team in the Los Angeles market. A number of people think that will be corrected shortly and some NFL owner will move his team into the market.

But in the 20 years since Georgia Frontiere moved her Anaheim-based Los Angeles Rams to St. Louis and Al Davis took his Los Angeles Raiders back to Oakland, proposals have come and gone.

Anaheim has dropped out of the potential stadium building race, the City of Industry’s plan was not gotten much support and even the downtown project is lingering. Sometime after January 15th 2015, an owner could say, “I am moving to LA.”

But, is LA ready for an NFL franchise?
