Just so there is no confusion, let me say I am a Rays fan first and analyst second. I’ve been a fan since moving to the Bay Area in 2001. That means I’ve lived through the Jared Sandberg/Brent Abernathy era to see the team become one of the best in baseball.
I began writing independently in 2007 before joining the Most Valuable Network (defunct) prior to the 2008 season. After magical run to the World Series, I was named editor-in-chief of DRaysBay.com, the largest Rays’ blog in existence. I spent two years there before handing over the site’s day-to-day operations in late 2010.
Since then, I have written for various sites including: Bright House Sports Network, The Hardball Times, Bloomberg Sports, The Process Report, and currently hold a writer/analyst position on FanGraphs along with my Insider duties for ESPN Florida and the affiliated radio stations.
