The NFL Draft is always filled with some type of controversy. Was that safety really a better pick over that tight end? However, this year some Ohio fans found controversy in the Cleveland Browns and Cincinnati Bengals draft picks because of off field reasons.
When the Bengals selected running back Joe Mixon in the second round there was backlash. Mixon ran into trouble when he punched a woman in the face while at Oklahoma.
The Bengals wasn’t the only team drafting an iffy player. The Browns drafted Florida Gator, Caleb Brantley, in the sixth round. Brantley was arrested and charged with a misdemeanor count of simple battery before the draft.
Ohio governor John Kasich joined Florida Live with Dan Maduri last week. While on the show he weighed in on these two teams draft selections.
