DAVIE, Fla. (AP) — Here’s how bad things are going for the Miami Dolphins right now: For the first time in a decade, Reggie Bush ran for more than 100 yards and his team lost anyway.
The last time that happened, Bush was a high school junior.
Bush ran for 103 yards in last weekend’s loss against the New York Giants, leaving the Dolphins 0-7. It was only his second 100-yard performance as a pro, the first coming in his rookie season.
Bush says he believed coming into the season he could show that he’s worthy of being called an elite runner, and says the Dolphins shouldn’t stop believing they can win.
Miami plays Sunday at the Kansas City Chiefs, whose four-game winning streak is tied for the longest current run in the AFC.
