Jeff Fisher has reportedly accepted the head coaching job for the St. Louis Rams.
Fisher had also interviewed for the Miami Dolphins job. Earlier this morning, it was reported that Miami were offering more money for the coach’s services. However, Adam Schefter reports the Dolphins and Fisher could not agree on the organization’s structure.
Sources say the financial terms of the agreement with St. Louis still need to be hammered out. Fisher had wanted to make his decision based upon football rather than financial means.
The deal will pair one of the most respected coaches in the NFL with one of the brightest young quarterbacks in Sam Bradford. It also puts Fisher on the team that barely beat his Titans team in Super Bowl XXXIV.
