With his victory over Derrick Lewis Saturday night at UFC 230, Daniel Cormier became the first fighter in UFC history to defend two belts in two different weight classes. What's most impressive is that he was able to defend both the belts while holding the belts simultaneously. Cormier has defended both belts in an eleven month span.

One month ago, UFC 230 didn't have a main event. The UFC knew it needed a big main event for the card being held at Madison Square Garden. On October 9th, the UFC announcing  That was until October 9th when it was announced heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier would put his belt on the line against Derrick Lewis.

Not even three days have passed since the biggest knockout of his career and Derrick Lewis already has another fight lined up. On November 3rd, Lewis will square off with heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier in the main event at UFC 230 at Madison Square Garden.

Former UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones has been handed a 15-month suspension by the United States Anti-Doping Agency and will be able to return to the octagon by October 28th.

UFC 230 has it all. It's at Madison Square Garden. The co-main event features the long-awaited return of Nate Diaz who is fighting the soaring Dustin Poirier. Six of the top ten middleweights are also on the card. Yep, the card pretty much has everything. That is...except for the main event.

UFC 226 was set up to be one of the most stacked cards of the year.  The main event being between the heavyweight champion and the lightweight champion, the co-main event featuring a featherweight title fight and two of the hardest hitting heavyweights squaring off.
