The National Collegiate Athletic Association has a new Executive Vice President of Regulatory Affairs. Stan Wilcox replacing Oliver Luck who took a position with the XFL. Wilcox will assume the post on October 1.

Paging Dr. Mark Emmert, the President of the National Collegiate Athletic Association. Remember that talk you gave at Penn State just about six years ago during the Jerry Sandusky sex with minors crisis. You said, "Football will never again be placed ahead of educating."

The National Collegiate Athletic Association, whose very integrity can constantly be questioned, through its basketball business put up its annual crown jewel basketball tournament, the Men’s Final Four, for bid in 2023, 2024, 2025 and 2026.

AT & T also now owns Turner Sports which includes various partnerships including Turner’s deal with the National Basketball Association and the National Collegiate Athletic Association and one of the major sports TV events, the Men’s College Basketball Tournament. 

The reality has set in. There will be no turning back and the sports world in the United States is going to have to adjust to what most of the other sports operators in the world have understood for decades. There is gambling on sports and there is nothing you can do, so embrace it.
