NCAA.COM YOUR SOURCE FOR COLLEGE SPORTS – The start of the 2024 college softball season is just around the corner and reigning national champion Oklahoma is at the top of the ESPN.com/USA Softball top 25 preseason poll, released Tuesday, Jan. 23.
With last year’s title, the No. 1 Sooners became the first team to three-peat as national champions since 1988-90 UCLA. This year, they will look to extend an NCAA-record 53-game win streak and make history as the first team to win four consecutive DI softball championships.
