Per ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield is dealing with a left knee contusion. He has had an MRI that came back clean, but still suffering some discomfort. Mayfield plans to play through the injury, but definitely something to keep track of moving forward.
QB Baker Mayfield is dealing with a left knee contusion that has caused some discomfort, per sources. Mayfield plans to play through it, as he did Thursday, and the hope is 10 days rest before Week 9 action helps. But it’s something he has to manage. MRI came back clean.
